Who we are
Star & Fate is operated by ReelForge LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
Without an account
Charts are calculated in your browser. Birth details you type on chart pages are not sent to our servers. Your language choice is kept in your browser (localStorage).
Account data
When you register we store your email address, a salted password hash (never the password itself), the charts you choose to save, and account timestamps.
Account emails such as password-reset links are sent through Resend, which processes your email address only to deliver them.
Hosting, database and AI
The site runs on Cloudflare Pages and Workers, and account data is stored in Cloudflare D1. Ask the Master replies are generated with Cloudflare Workers AI: your message and a summary of the chart you chose are sent to the model to produce the reply. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for anonymous visit statistics without cookies, and we store only aggregate event counts (for example, how many charts were calculated each day) with no personal data.
Ask the Master chat history
Your Ask the Master conversations are stored in your account so you can continue them. On the Ask the Master page you can delete a single message, a conversation or your whole history at any time; deleted items are removed from our database.
Voice input and read-aloud
Voice features in Ask the Master are optional and only work after you tap the microphone or a Listen button. When you record a question, the audio is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to be turned into text, and is not stored by us or kept after transcription; only the text you choose to send is saved, like any typed message. Read-aloud audio is generated by Cloudflare Workers AI from the Master’s reply already in your account and may be cached briefly so replaying it is fast. We keep only daily usage counters (seconds and characters) to apply fair-use limits. If those limits are reached or the service is busy, your browser’s built-in speech recognition or voices may be used instead; depending on your device these may be processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy terms.
Weekly horoscope email
If you subscribe, we store your email address, the star sign or zodiac animal you chose, your language, the page you subscribed from, and the subscription status and dates. Subscriptions are double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email (valid for 48 hours). Emails are sent through Resend from [email protected]. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, your record is marked as unsubscribed and deleted 30 days later; unconfirmed sign-ups are also deleted after 30 days.
Sign in with Google
If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google tells us your email address (and whether Google has verified it), your name, a stable Google account ID (the “sub” identifier) and possibly your profile picture URL. We store only your email address and the Google account ID so we can recognise you next time; we do not store your name or profile picture. We never receive or store your Google password, and we cannot access your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data: we request only the basic sign-in scopes (openid, email, profile). If your verified Google email matches an existing Star & Fate account, the two are linked. You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; to keep using the site by email, set a password with “Forgot password”. To unlink Google or delete your whole account, email [email protected].
Deleting your account
Email [email protected] from your registered address. We will delete your account, saved charts and chat history within 30 days. Database backups are kept for at most 30 days, after which deleted data is gone from backups too. Expired sessions are cleaned up automatically.
Birthplace and place data
When you save a chart we store the birthplace you picked (a place id, latitude, longitude and time zone) so the chart can be redrawn; we never use your IP address to guess your location. The place list loads from our own site only when you open the picker. Place data © GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Star & Fate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Accounts are for people 18 or older. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
Your US state privacy rights (including California / CCPA)
Categories we collect: identifiers (email address; Google account ID if you use Google sign-in), account and chart data you choose to save (chart label, birth date and time, birthplace coordinates and time zone, gender), Ask the Master chat history, and technical data (IP address, processed by Cloudflare for delivery and security). Purpose: only to provide, secure and improve the service and to send emails you asked for. Retention: until you delete the item or your account; deleted accounts are removed within 30 days and backups roll off within a further 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (we do none of these). You can delete charts, chat history or your account yourself on My Chart, or email us with the subject "Privacy request"; we verify the request through your account email and reply within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows.
International data transfer
The service runs on Cloudflare's global network, so your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates.
